Default Sportbikes

I'm really getting tired of getting my a@# kicked by all these jap bikes. I have a 1200 Sportster and I know I will never be able to compete with the crotch rockets but it really sucks to get easily beat by a girl on a little 500 Ninja. I wish there were some somewhat inexpensive mods to at least keep me from being totally embarrassed by all these kids.

I think the Key word was "cheap." LOL, but yeah. A Vrod would be the way to go.

I'd love a V-Rod or Buell Firebolt but I don't have the $$ and even then I would get wasted by even the 600cc class sportbikes and the liter and above class bikes would leave me in their dust. (Though at least they might consider me competetion, unlike now). Oh well, I guess that's the trade off for riding American.

Or the new Street Rod. It supposedly designed to be crotch rocket killer.

Even better, just enjoy your Sporty and do the free breathing air cleaner, exhaust, and rejet the carb and do not worry about the ear oilers.

Why race? Cruisin' is much more fun. I had a 750 Katana. I have more fun, and comfort, on my 1200 Sporty.

Cheap fix, no problem there, ever heard of bracket racing? 1/8 mile, those rockets will break out everytime. LOL, on the other hand there is no real cheap HP gain. There are some real fast sportys out there and in their H.P. to rpm range they are decent, however the 400 Lb 120 HP. 600-900 cc sportbike is bad news after they get in the upper rpm range.

Just enjoy the ride and if you want to play ya gotta pay. But you could supercharge that rascal along with the big bore and ye-haw!
