A One Percenter or 1%'er' is a full member (known as "fully-patched") of an outlaw motorcycle club.
The term comes from a famous statement made by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) that 99% of motorcyclists and clubs are law-abiding citizens and only 1% are not.
Those who claim to be 1%'ers are proud to be a part of that group. The one percenter term and accompanying patch are worn as a badge of honor by so-called outlaw bikers, and is also meant to instill respect and fear from regular motorcyclists, and the general community.
Members of motorcycle gangs such as Hells Angels, Outlaws, Pagans, and the Bandidos have members that wear the rhombus-shaped patch with "1%" or "1%'er" inside, usually in their gang's colors, on their vests or motorcycle leathers.

OOOHHHHHHHHHH, Ok. Gotcha
So theoretically, if I take my daddy's American Express card(that I used to buy my bike with), then I can go get a few of those patches and put them on my leather Armani Vest, I can be a part of BOTH groups???
lol, just joking guys. From those definitions I'm neither a Rub nor a 1%. (well maybe a really ugly biker)

not knowing does not make you eiter, it just makes you someone who does not know how to use the forum's search button at the top of the page. use it. there are multiple threads covering this subject with loads of info.

The best patch I saw on my buddy's vest read the folowing
$18,000.00 and 200 miles dosent make you a biker
That would sum up the RUB very well. Or the hardcore bikers that get all dressed up and ride to Starbucks for hours. We rode a poker run once and watched a guy trailer his custom Fatboy in for a ride.
