Take your wife out line dancing with the shitkickers. Wear good supportive boots to ride in because sooner or later for one reason or another you will be glad you had them on.

I wear loggers, harness boots , or Cowboy boots. It just depends on what I feel like wearing.. As other have said, the important thing is to have soles that you can depend on for traction.

i always wear cowboy boots. i had some hand made for me with a bit more padding around the shifter. they are great but remember in bad weather they fill up with water some times if it seeps through your pants. i've had to stop and pour mine out before.

i had a pair of black suede tony lama cowboy boots with logger soles back in the day. i wish i knew what happened to them. haven't seen them in years. maybe you can get a boot repair place to put logger soles on for you. no worries about slipping.

I usually wear a Harley branded harness boot but occassionally wear a Harley branded cowboy style boot as well. Both have the traction soles found on Harley branded boots. Cant imagine that ostrich is going to hold up to the wear and tear of daily riding, but what the heck its only money! LOL! Kiss your wife!!

I have the cowboy boots on daily, riding or not, but I do have rubber soles on them. If your cobbler is a good one, you won't be able to tell that the soles are rubber unless someone sees the bottom of the boots. But who cares? They are your boots.
