Default Wow,this was a costly Bike Week........

Well I had my camping spot on the the infield at the speedway for the week and Tuesday it was hell with the wind. 30 mph steady. Then a 50 mph gust came and blew my heavy duty Easyup tarp out of the ground and hurled it thru the air like in Wizard of Oz and it landed 75 ft away square on my 2009 Ford Super Duty. Looks like several thousand dollars damage if you can believe that. Pics and estimate to follow. BTW this is the third tarp three years in a row we have lost due to wind. It never fails, only this one took out my truck.

When I camp w/ the family, I don't secure the cover to the frame. When the wind tries to lift it, it takes the cover and leaves the frame. It's much cheaper to chase the cover when the frames not attached to it and the cover eventually gets cought on something that stops it.

Well I guess it's better it hit your truck then some elses. Seems like you need a new plan for next year.
