Schampa fleece mask with nose vent; a merino wool balaclava; or just a scarf depending on if it's really, really cold, cold or cool and warming up fast.

I use a bandana to keep off rain and cold. Haven't found one yet that didn't try to steam up my glasses, though.

No skulls or anything - just black polar fleece.

I have a neopreen one with a skull on it, last year I was wearing it and at a stop light I was looking around and this older lady was in her car, she looked at me and jumped a few inches in her drivers seat, it was so funny, when I think about it I still crack up. A lot of times I turn it inside out as well, then it's just black. I wear a bandana in the summer when it's warmer. Why be uncomfortable?

Simple bandana. Learned the trick many, many moons ago when dirt biking in colder weather. A simple bandana can keep your face/nose/chin acceptably comfortable down into the lower 40's. It allows too much air through it to really be effective for geniune frigid temps. Once its really frigid, you need something that essentially stops the wind, such as neoprene. (Which I also have, but very seldom use now.)

All black Schampa balaclava. Feels good and looks sinister.

I wear a polypro balaclava or an UnderArmor balaclava style hood. I like the UA one more because it's thinner.
