Default Battery Tender Help

I recently purchased a Schumacher Model SE-1-12S Automatic Battery Charger/Maintainer http://store.schumachermart.com/se-1-12s.html

Problem is that the terminal leads to the charger are of course not a battery tender cable. Does anyone know where I can purchase the tender cable I need for the Harley AND a converter for the charger. I'm thinking I can cut the terminal leads of the charger and adapt it to a separate cable. Any help appreciated and thanks. Guess I should have looked at it closer but the salesman told me "this is what you want" and it was in those nasty sealed plastic cases where I couldnt see the whole product. Looks like its a high rated charger, but I need to convert the cables.

You can purchase the tender cable right from HD or make your own with a two prong flat plug.

May i make a recommendation? Wrap up the product, take it back to the place of purchase and ask for a refund. then go to your local HD dealer or independent bike shop and purchase a Deltran smart tender plus, it has the cables you need. No cutting, splicing, or making it work. A real good warranty, mine have lasted 8+ years. You could get the smaller "jr" charger or the most popular 1.25 amp charger. These chargers charge the battery then goes into a Monitor mode, float, until the battery drops down to a predetermined voltage and the charger charges again, all automatically. Can't go wrong with this setup, google Deltran and check it out.

You can buy the 2 pin SAE connector (tender plug compatible) in most auto parts stores. Usually in the trailer hitch/wiring section.

You got too big of a maintainer. The MC battery should not be charged over 1.5 amps to get the longest life. The Schumacker 1.5 amp maintainer is the best. Walmart sells it for about $21.

I have 12 in operation on my bikes and cars for years. They do a great job. I even ran over one and it keeps going.

The motorcycle one comes with two types of connectors. No need to buy any.
