I would have been happy with any ride this weekend. I'm waiting on a new shifter shaft to come in, the splines on mine stripped out last weekend. The weather was perfect here in central mississippi and I was stuck at home doing yard work.

I'd ride 100 mile to go have lunch someplace. 200 is more a "days ride" for me.

Some days a 100 mile ride can seem like an Iron Butt..... other days 100 miles is the route ya take for a pack of cigarettes

Did you enjoy the company of your friends? sometimes the hanging out can be as good as the ride.

If I'm out by myself? usually 100 miles ain't squat.... if I'm riding WITH friends, some times the BS-ing, takes over.

That being said if we the people i ride with ride on a warm summer day its anywhere from 250 to 400 plus miles by the end of the day but we usually leave out first light and may not be back till dark or 10pm or later just depends where the road leads us.
+1 with OHioSkully - I actually had the bike out over the weekend here in Central PA ! Sat. -Short Trip- Just after de-winterizing her. Then on Sunday 1:30pm had her out for a longer stroll yea maybe 100mi or so. Stopped at a "wing-off" for a charity fund raiser then just couldn't take her home right away went to the lake boat launch area. Yep, it's still all frozen over. Slowly melting.Home again around 5pm. Temps here hit 50 in the afternoons on Sat/Sun and we are expecting the next (2) days to be good in the afternoon. Note: This was a colder winter than usual. But this was the earliest that I had the bike out even for a short ride. I just guess I REALLY need it. and I DID. Cures all that ails you .

As many have stated, it depends on the situation. If you have some time in the afternoon then sure. If thats all you ever want to do then I guess for me that would be a no.

Too short ... you still have 1/4 tank of gas left.
