I bought a chrome battery cover at a swap meet. I thought I would just remove the script from my stock FXDC cover and install it on the chrome cover, but I am not sure how to remove the stock script. I was hoping it was screwed on, but it appears it may be held on with some kinds of double sticky tape.

How do I safely get this off and installed on the chrome cover?

 

Take your stock cover off, look at the back side.

There are two plastic tabs you press together and it will pop out.
