Depressingly high. My Crossbones was $312 last year.

The State is virtually bankrupt, and everything is taxed to the max...

Indiana (used to live) and AZ both charge an "excise" tax which runs in the $150-400 range depending on age for late model cars and bikes. Not as bad as CA maybe but would love to pay $42.50 per vehicle!

But it may be popcorn vs peanuts. Would have to look at ALL taxes to know which state is really more then the other. Income, property, sales tax, etc.

That really pissed me off when i lived in cali....registration fees based on the year of the car....so if your a f**ckin loser that drives a old beat up piece of ****, you get a break....work hard so you can buy a new car and california says "oh you got money for a new car, well we want our cut".....and this is just the tip of the iceberg in cali.....f**cking thieving bastards!!!!!
