79.50 for a 2005 FLHPI in NH. Not too bad. We don't have any sales or income tax, they have to get it from you somehow.

a co-worker of mine just bought a softail for 6K and paid nearly $700 to register it. they've lost their mind, they **** our money away and then simply take more and more from us.

someone has to pay the crack heads welfare payments though.

i keep wondering when the middle/working class are getting their bailout? so far you either have to be dirt poor or filthy rich to receive any breaks.

fifteen bucks here in the cesspool of liberalism (mass). But the state excise tax for my Harleys is gonna be 4 or 5 hundred bucks this year. That bill comes separate.
The cost of the "entitlement" (don't ya love that) programs is just a piece of the puzzle. It's the political hack jobs given out to return campaign favors and the public service pensions that are a huge part of the tax burden in many states, and it's not lost on me that most if not all of the states in financial trouble are blue. Here in this stinkhole state, the guvnah has added 1,500 do nothing jobs since the welfare class and the smelly hippies that infest the state voted the turd in.

This is all on the state level. Just wait till hope and change gets done with you.

Mine is $42.50 this year. Probably the Southern tier pays more because per capita, our counties have way more welfare fraud and other government funded giveaways to support. Part of the price we pay for living in the "Metropolitan Area". What a crock of s**t.
