Just got my renewal in the mail today for New Jersey....$65.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn near doubled from what it was last year.

Here in Ontario Canada it's $47 per year and helps pay for our free health care.

Yeppers we gotta love our Indiana excise tax on vehicles..
its up to $532 on new vehicle..
Mine is
09 truck. $469.
06 car. $184.
07HD. $189. each of these is per Yr..

Then add registration fees, plate fees and our usually 07% sales tax.. on top of above tax.

Oh another one forgot, they just passed this one last yr.
Theres a new Wheel tax of another $25-$45 per vehicle also added now depending on what U drive.

hope I can get out for under $1K for the 3 plates this yr...

I just keep thanking God they don't charge extra for sitting in their chairs while waiting 2hrs just to get Ur number called...

I just got mine Lorain County, Ohio, 33.50
25.00 State Fees
5.00 Local Tax
3.50 Deputy Fee
150.00+ for registration is robbery! And they say were the criminals.

Is NY charging different fees for upstate? I'm in NYC and got billed for $42.50 also.
