I don't take the mta either, they charge my company a tax and no one in my office uses it, raise the freakin' rates for the people who use it and leave the rest of us alone.

My kid just P/U his bike and it was $42.50 and I just e-mailed mine last week and it was $17.50, go figure.

Tell us how ya feel bud!!!Ive been commuting to NYC for 30 years,first time Ive been able to ride the train to work.Been riding Metro North to Grand Central Station since December.Beats driving anytime.
You could always move further upstate like Plattsburgh with the "SNL ROCK EATERS"

I just got a new bike/plates from the dealer and they charged me $75 bucks for the 'registration process'. Yesterday, I got the renewal for my old bike - plate turned in - $42.

For those who are still less than $20 - your time will come next year...
