Anyone in here going to or has been to ROT rally, if so share your thoughts on the rally? It's gonna be my first time going this summer and can't wait and was just curious what yall thought about it.

I went in 07 and had a great time. I didn't get to go the last couple of years do to work/finances, so hopefully this year I'll make it. Austin is a great place to party anytime. Lots of good clubs and bars on 6th Street.

This will be my fifth year in a row. It is hot, noisy, and fun. Stay out of the parade Friday night going to sixth street if hot bikes bother you. Austin traffic sucks but they seem to watch for motorcycles. Good places to ride around Austin. Lots of T&A.

Been several times but quit after 08 cause the prices are getting out of sight. But that's typical of lots of rallies. And get ready to sweat cause it is HOT. 6th street is great but getting back to your bed is tough after too many drinks.

I have been a few times and oldairboater hit the nail on the head. Hot, noisy, and fun with lots of t&a.

I went last year. It is hot if you spend all your time at the rally riding the "loop" looking for T&A.
We went on a ride to Luckenbach and had a great time. Also went to Pete's dueling piano bar one night and had a blast!!
The rally was ok I guess but the riding in the hill country makes up for it.
Not sure if I will go back.

Its hot and the traffic is a mess. Ride around Austin area great but have not taken part in the parade in a few years as I was wore out by Friday night as I ride down on Friday morning. Did I say its Hot.

I haven't been to the Austin ROT rally but a friend at work went a couple years ago. She told me -- it's on private property, you have to pay for all three days even if you just want to drop in for one day, the vendor prices are ridiculous and there are beer swilling drunks everywhere, some of whom like to ride around in a big circle naked. No thanks.
