This is actually an excellent piece of advice. Cops carry the "get out of jail free" card with them where ever they go.

I have lots of law enforcement friends...has helped me 'a lot'...just saying.

He sure seemed understanding. Maybe he rides or used to ride, but either way sounds like a decent guy. So, how did it feel riding without a seat?

yeah i try to avoid making friends with LEO's especialy ones around here, i am sure there are some advantages, but well it just aint a good thing for either party hahaha, my anti-government civil disobediance live by my own rules 99% of the time stances make it awekward to say the least lol but its nice to know where they are and where to slow down at lol

He's a better guy than I would have been. Cop, or no cop, someone that lays rubber in the middle of my street in the middle of the day, would get a call to the cops from me. This is part of the reason why so many people have a hard on against bikes and try to restrict our freedoms. My opinion, flame away.

He seemed to be a pretty cool guy. By reaching out to you he told you he knows who you are and wanted to handle it with no consequences. Next time he may not be some easy going. 2 choices for you to make...force him to eventually ticket you and be friendly and get along. i like the second choice.

I am surrounded by cops! No one bothers me, the guy next door is really cool and loves my bike. I try not to run it at 4 in the morning when I am heading to work, though. No baffles. I didn't remove them but I haven't replaced them, either!
