Default Why do I feel like the youngest guy at bike runs?

I went to a bike run in Post Falls on Sunday. It was awesome, lots of sun and over 1000 bikes on the road. Even at 37 it seems like when I go to these events I am one of the youngest guys out there. Don't get me wrong, some of them old boys are a blast and have just as much fun as anyone else, but I am just curious if anybody else my age notice this?

Maybe some of the younger folks don't go on runs. I see younger and older guys riding all the time. Could also be the type of run and the part of the country you're in.

I dunno ...

I'm 43 and feel younger than some 30 year olds I know. I also sometimes act younger than some 13 year olds.

I get that sometimes, I usually am one of the youngest though (27), but it doesn't bother me though. I'm there for a good time and to ride.

at 22 i AM the youngest at most biker events i've attended.

my dad's crew (no not an MC) treats me like the prospect.

i grab the rounds of beers and ever since SOA they've taken to calling me half-sack.

it's all in good fun though i've been around those guys since i was born.

plus i tell them if they dont stop f*cking with me i'll stop getting girls to come hang out by our bikes.

I am always the youngest girl. Makes it kind of depressing when you are hoping to meet someone near your age with their own bike.

I see being the youngest one on a ride (regardless of age) as a great oppruntity to sit back and listen and learn something about anything. There is no greater teacher than listening to the stories and tales of those who have "been there, done that'" good and bad. Take advantage of it and always show the proper respect due. FYI I am 44yo and look forward to these chances.
