Gumby needs some support...

Thanks monstead for the post. I saw the captain at, who would have thought, at Captains bar on long lake after a bike run a couple of years ago. Did not know who owned the bike, but sure stared at it long and hard, like eye candy. I remember seeing gump in the bar and did not know at the time who he was until after I joined this forum. I can say this, he must be well respected in the biking community 'cause I couldn't get near the table he was sitting at because of all the people around him. He will be fine.

One more bump for the Gump! Thanks Monstead for bringing this to our awareness. I would have missed it. I sent him a PM, and hopefully everyone that sees this will too. He needs some support now, and our prayers are with him. These kind of trials can be extremely painful, and with God's help he'll come out stronger than he was before.

Yeah, it really sucks. But I know he's old and wise enough to handle it, it will still suck, but he'll cope.
I also have an "oak leaf cluster" on my marriage ribbon also. As I'm sure lots of folks here do too.
