It will never end,and it is like this everywhere.So don't take anything for granted.

 

Glad you and your son are OK....Here is one for you, the other day I passed a car on one of our main highways, actually our only highway and noticed that the young girl was texting on her phone. She must have felt safe since she was following a police cruiser. For some reason the policeman hit his lights and then his brakes, she plowed into the rear of his cruiser as he was pulling to the side of the road....

 

Over the last few years things have got a little safer for bikes here. While its illegal to drive in a bus lane the policy of the police is to ignore bikes in the bus lane because they believe it safer. I love hearing car drivers giving out about getting pulled, and how the police are only out to get the innocent driver. Puts a smile on my face.

 

Idiots are not an endangered species on the road these days. When I'm riding I just assume everyone on the road is about to do the absolute stupidest thing they possibly could at the worst time. So far it's kept me out of trouble.
