funny, i dont even think a sportster is a "girls" bike, except ******'s of couse.
have ridden, and been out ran by more then one sporty.
that is one fine deluxe there rose, and if someone says its a "chicks" bike, they are right, jealous, but right, as you are a lady, and its urs, so tell um to take their jealousy elsewhere

Don't let that bonehead bother you. You have a great look'in ride! Take it from the people who "know" the difference. Thinking possitive... Perhaps he meant that comment in a nice way and didn't mean it to be derrogetory... then, again, perhaps he's just an idiot, try'in to get a reaction out of you.
I consider my Fatboy pretty much a "girl's bike"... She's mint green (with drk blue teardrop on the gas tank). Although, she is pretty, the boys still really like 'er. I get lots of comments on her. My hubby even likes to ride her, cause she handles even nicer that his Heritage.
She was my pick, I like her, and that's all that matters.
And I will repeat again... you have a great looking ride! Keep enjoying 'er!

I need to just go ahead and glue lace on my bike.
For like the 3rd time now I have had a guy say something like "Yeah, you ride a girl's bike".....That was the comment from the tow truck driver when we were talking after he towed my son's car home tonight (alternator died). [:@]
Sometimes I wanna....arrrrrrgh.....

Personally I have never been strong enough to pick up a bike and look at the undercarriage to tell if it's a boy or a girl...
...and if I did come across someone strong enough to do that, I would be inclined to believe them.
