i got a Police Harley at an auction and i was wondering where i should go to find out more info about it. I have looked up info on the Vin number but haven't found much out. The Vin is 1HD1FHW135Y675463. anyone got any ideas what the "W136Y" would be in that Vin?

Looks good. Was it sold as a police bike and now has all the PD accessories removed? Many were sold for street use and not purchased by PD's.

 

As far as I can cipher, 1 is the regular introduction date, next can vary 0 thru 9 or x, last is the model year. This comes from the vin breakdown from my 90 fxrs manual. Could be wAAAY off on this.
