If they wanna sell the 09's, they better drop the prices substantially...not offer a free maintenance and a warranty. Thats crap. Now if they're offering this on top of heavily discounted prices, I'm all for it.

Remember guys, "cheap" carry over units drastically affect used values. Pay now or pay later.....

 

H-D carrying other bikes is nothing new...one dealer around here started carrying Thunder Mountain couple of years ago, and another repped for Sucker Punch Sallys years ago...another has carried Suzuki and Honda as long as I can remember...

 

Give me Cheap! Forget what you can sell it for! This is NOT an investment! Thats the biggest HD BS. Its a piece of Gold when you buy it put thousands more into it and take it to the dealer for trade and it like magic turns into a POS! it's amazing! And best of luck selling it these days for what You "we" think its worth. I love my bike and it's worth alot to me . When I buy a new bike I plan on keeping this one. I want the best Deal I can get when I buy it out of the box...

 

That's discrimination plain and simple. Oh, I've already got an '09.

 

Sounds like MOCO make their money on financing and the rest of the deal isn't that impressive. They are trying to sell low payments. Any dealer that wants to sell will have to come down on MSRP for 09s or they will sit on the floor. That means money out of their pocket as they pay interest on whatever they hasve on their Showroom. That is why some dealers wised up early on they 09s and sold at discount. I am amazed at all the 09s still out there to be had... and many at discounted prices.

 

Just give me cash back. I'll do the maintenance myself.

 

Doesn't look that great to me.... are they gonna take $2k or $3k off the MSRP??? I doubt it.
