New wheels don't come with bearings...Just installing the bearings and putting the rotors on the front wheel would be about .8 hrs. That isn't even including removing the old wheel the old tire from the old wheel and reinstalling it on the bike.

Or reshimming the bearings PROPERLY. Anyone that puts new bearings in, or uses the old ones for that matter, without checking the thrust in the axle/bearings is cuttin corners...

And how do you know this?...It is one hour to change just the tire...That doesn't count replacing the bearings and swapping the brake rotors and the pulley to the new wheels.

If you were in Ky I would take them off and put them on for nothing. I can't believe all the harley riders have not volunteered to give you a hand. Whats a couple hours to help a girl out.

That's really great of you... It's not that I don't want to pay a fair price, just wondering. Anyway, should have the bike back. Of course they talked me into chroming everything else and polishing the rotors. I'm really looking forward to gettnig it back sometime in the next few weeks.

man you live in a dream world!! my new wheel came with bearings,i only just changed my wheel from standard to 18x5.5,changed rotors over, pulley, and even changed out the hub,hub 55lbs,rotor 40lbs pulley 60 lbs,all torqued down,i had a new tyre put on the rim earlier, fitted and balanced 10 mins, took me longer to choose the tyre!took me less then an hour and that is changing to different from standard,i did do the mock up a week earlier to get measurements for the new hub to be machined 13mm, and measurements for new axle spacer, then put original wheel back on to ride while i was waiting for machine shop!! i havent taken rear wheel of many times, these guys could do it in there sleep and be heaps quicker then me and air tools! probably less then half hour
