delmarva bike week hotel picks
Last year was my first year I was able to go to Delmarva Bikeweek. I live about 1 1/2 hours away so I just rode down & back a couple of days. This year I want to spend at least 1 nite in OC to get the full experience. Tons of picks for hotels. Anyone stay anywhere they particularly liked or hated?

We stayed at the Thunderbird for a couple of nights. Price wasnt too bad, room was very livable and not to loud of a crowd there.

I had too much fun at Secret's and the Bearded Clam and can't remember the name. My wife looked it up so I can post it. I know it was on the beach and they had a hose set up to wash your bike near the pool and a bar and grill upstairs. Paradise Plaza Inn.

I live about 30 mins from there as the Glenn flies lol. Glenn being me. I would recommend both the Princess Bayside and Royale in OC. The Bayside is butted right up against Secrets or as I like to call it the Sausage Factory so its within crawling distance. Also just down the Street is a awesome bar tucked back on the water called PHAG(spelled the blocked out way)er's Island. Lots of tail there and good music. Finally this year I will be going and on a Harley not just riding wishing I was on one.

Castaways camp ground! Its right off of route 50 soon as you go over the RT. 50 bridge on the left. If still interested let me know. I stayed there for sep. 2010 bike week.
