Pure carnuba wax. No super nano space age polymer, horse $hit derivative micro synthetic nothing. Just pure carnuba wax. I have tried many in the quest for something better.....there aint none better. Nothing gives a deeper shine, lasts longer, or protects better......

Get your hands on this months Consumer Reports. There's a pretty good breakdown of waxes and polishes. They also rate them by their use.

Default RE: Need Wax// polymer info

I've been waxing/polishing my own cars/bikes for the past 21 years. Even worked as a professional detailer a couple of those years. In that time I've tried alot of different products, over the counter and professional grade. A few years back I worked with a guy in his mid-fifties and one day we were discussing waxes and polish. He had mentioned an old lady came into the dealership he worked at that time with an old Dodge Dart. It looked like it was in a time capsule. He asked her what wax she used, she didn't know but said her husband used this stuff in the trunk. She opened the trunk and there lie the best paint protectant I had ever used. My co-worker took her and the car's testimony to heart and bought some of the polish. He loved it just as much, so he passed this secrect on to me. Now, I share it with you all.
It's called Astro Shield, no not AstroGlide. It goes on and comes off easy, long lasting, meaning water beads off it and it still feels slick for a long time . I waxed my Softail with Mother's Gold, (me wanting to try something else... a sickness I have), which feels nice, then the other day I broke out the tried and true Astro Shield and hit the rear fender. It's twice as slick as Mother's and a darker shade as well. After that I did my Corolla which had Mother's as well. Wow, I'll never stray again. It's the slickest, smoothest paint I've felt. Here's their website, Astro Shield, but it's cheaper elsewhere about $12.00 a quart. Well worth it.
Carnuba I feel was fine back in the day but with today's technology regarding synthetics, it's just doesn't compare. Carnuba wax didn't last long at all on my vehicles in the Forida sun, Astro Shield sure did. Hope this helps.
