The OP asked what is the most important thing you own and it is surprising how many put their wife first...you can't own people...remember you guys (Americans) tried that once and you're still paying for it.

Easy question, since my house is in the Detroit area is isn't worth Sh*t and I owe more than it is worth mine would be my 1935 Oldsmobile. I have owned it since I was 14yo. and it is my most valued possession.

Materialistic
Our house burned down when I was 6 months old. My family lost everything except pretty much the clothes on our backs. My whole life as I was growing up, my mom always beat it into my head that things - any things you can buy - aren't important. So, I have never placed any importance on things I own.
It is not really, he who has the most toys at the end wins! I can appreciate glass, steel and chrome when artfully assembled but don't get to involved with inanimate objects. Mind to mind, we probably get more out of the association with the like minded individuals that share the same interest!
