Most important thing you own?

There ya go...nothing I own would mean anything to me if I didn't have those qualities as a foundation...
I know LOTS of people with a lot of $$ and material things, but they don't possess an ounce of integrity, honor or respect...and I made up my mind a long time ago that I wasn't going to live like that...

Our house burned down when I was 6 months old. My family lost everything except pretty much the clothes on our backs. My whole life as I was growing up, my mom always beat it into my head that things - any things you can buy - aren't important. So, I have never placed any importance on things I own.

Unlike others here I don't feel that I own my OL but as long as I have her my house will be the most important thing I own. If she ever gets smart and gives me the boot then my bike will take 1st place regardless of whether or not I still have the house.

I see several answers listing Honor and other character traits. I don't think I own those things. To me owning something means it can be taken from you and Honor, integrity and some of the other things can never be taken away from me. They are a part of my makeup. I can choose to lose them but no one can take them from me.

Don't reckon, like a few alluded to before, in one way or another YOU don't really OWN anything. So on that note, not this particular bike (my 13th) a bike has always been a large part of my identity. So I'd have to say it probably is the most important inademate object I own.
