I love splitting lanes and never really did it until going to Cali and trying it, now I can't get enough. I like it so much I built the Shovel specifically for this. It's not quite legal in AZ so I try not to do it too often but every now and then if traffic isn't moving how I think it should I'll find the thin line between the cages. Zinging between the cages at 80 mph sure is a damn good time. Makes a guy feel alive! Anyone else like living dangerously.

 

I split lanes here in NorCal, but certainly not at 80 mph!

I try to keep it safe. I don't go 80 if traffic is sittin' still, I try to keep it at 30 mph above what traffic is doing.

 

I love splitting lanes when cagers are stuck in traffic but at less mph than 80.

Our roads must be narrower than Urs... there's just aint enough room IMO here in the Hoosier state to do that make it, then some cager would probably cut U off....

 

This does pose a problem from time to time...

 

Man now ther's a topic " lane splitter" this is part of calif 's dot requirment if you don't split you ain't chit. You'll never get anywhere if you didn't split . That's why they sell bike's so you can be in the top 25% smarties go to the head of the class. You just passed ha. Ha 35 YR'S AND GETTIN DOWN.

 

i have been known to part take in such elegal activty even got a 125 dollar ticket and lost points off my license oops
