Any lane splitters here?

I do, and it saves me over 40 minutes on my commute vs driving in my car. As long as its legal here in CA, you bet your a$$ I'll keep doing it. Plus, it's no fun sitting in the middle of traffic breathing in the exhaust fumes when its 100 degrees with the sun beating down on you. You gotta keep moving, otherwise you and/or your bike will take a sh*t! Reason why the cops do it to.
For the most part, drivers are aware of us (especially commuting in the AM/PM on the 405. But I do it everywhere, on surface streets too. A man is only limited by his options. If you have em, use em.

Here in SoCal lane splitting is almost a way of life for motorcyclists. It kicks you into another level of conscienceness. I usually only do it if traffic is under 30 and only 10 or so miles faster. I have to admit that every once in a while my wild hair gets to ticklin'........and off I go with the best of them.

Never did it and never will. But when I am in my FORD there is nothing more satisfying than throwing open a door while some idiot is splitting lanes. You want to be treated with respect and given the same respect as any other vehicle on the road, yet you drive like an *** between cars in traffic...Yea, that makes sense. I only hope you try it with me on the road. You know the risks, and so do I - only my vehicle is bigger and will *** rape you
