I picked up my HF 1000# table lift yesterday in prep for doing my first big bore build myself.

The store service sucks, utterly and completly worst shopping experience I ever had. Have the lift home so all is good now, used the $279 coupon so it was worth the aggravation, had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get teh dam thing loaded on my truck.

I also picked up the wheel chock, used teh coupon for $29 from one of the baker rags I have laying around.

The questions

How far forward to mount the wheel chock, I have an Ultra and FXDC so both need to fit?

Seen a set up on here where a member bought some steel wall studs and mounted them to the sides after welding clips but cant find the thread, would like to do same.

Will paint this thing harley black and orasnge, another idea stolen from fellow forum member here. Where do I get the paint?

What sicissor jack do I buy for the table?
