Biltwell 3/4 helmet, how is the wind noise?
#21
I have been using a ACC 1/2 helmet for the past 3 years. I got tired of the wind noise and the damn thing floatin on my head. I got a 3/4 biltwell about 4 months ago and wear it almost every day. I love it, a huge improvement. Its light, comfortable and blocks the wind noise real good but I can still hear my bike. I can't imagine needing ear plugs with one.

Normally, when someone has a question about a specific product, they provide a link so the rest of us can check it out and/or be sure we are all talking about the same item. So...got a link, or did I miss it?

I'm about an inch from ordering a biltwell. Whats the deal with the one size thing. I wear an XL helmet. Does anyone think this is gonna be an issue. For those that have them, how's the "one size" thing doing for yah?
And what the difference in the NEW biltwell?

Good enough. You sold me. I bought the flat black. I opted for the new style vs. the old. Can't believe theres all that much of a difference, but what the heck. I got the new style for 75 bucks.

So has anyone actually went down wearing one of these things. I know that the actual usefulness of a helmet is limited due to physics and all, but are they as worthless as a stocking cap in the event of laying it down?
I'm looking at Biltwell's as well as the Daytona's and I'm kind of torn.
