Looking for advice on brand of battery to get
#13
I would probly have to order it online from somewhere. Nearest Deka shop according to site is 5-6 hour drive.
I won't shop at local harley shop after I stopped in once to get a single gold spark plug as I was shorted 1 from online order and had parts guy tell me they dont exist and tried said I could only buy screamin eagle plugs for $30 for my bike. Then last year I HAD to go for bottle of fork oil and took me 30 mins plus an attitude from clerk because they cant simply put the fluids on a shelf they hide them out back so you have to play some game

I would go with the deka battery. I have seen another other brand (interstate) go bad after a couple of months and was told that one of the plate broke inside of it due to the vibration a Harley engine puts out,...But that is just hear say, but my money would be on the OEM part or the same part manf minus the (hundred dollar) label.
