whatever happens to be in reach. Since joining this forum, I have learned the wonders of Pledge. I now use it on everything, from the seats to the glass to the tins to the chrome etc. Damn stuff is amazing.
I'm curious about the comment that "new chrome isn't as durable as old chrome"? Never heard such a thing before. Is this because chrome gets stronger as it gets older? (very doubtful) Or is it just that you think they don't do as good a job as they used to (likely)? In which case, doesn't it depend on who did it, etc? The chrome on my bike seems pretty darn good.

Chrome polish is Chrome polish,they all do the same thing make Chrome shine,windex or pledge will do the same thing !!
If your chrome is dull from scratchs,it need to be rechromed no polish will help !!

New chrome isn't as good as old chrome. No doubt some of the chemicals used in the process have changed over the years the base materials have a huge impact as well. The chrome (and all other materials) used to be thicker.

Well, ok... But um, this is 2010, not the 1970's? (Lots of things declined from the 1950's to the 1970's, including hairstyles. )
