one of our custom seat businesses does them, cuts out the foam and puts them in, can't even tell....

Mean City Cycles, a sponsor here, would probably be the best person to ask since that's what they do.

Gel pads are no good out here in the desert. They hold the heat in and roast your nuts after sitting out in the sun for a while. The sheepskin is the best thing I've found but I'd still talk to MCC.

I like the original seat on my Heritage, long distance, no problem.. Butt, sweat, thats a problem.. use rider beads.. ceramic beads that you put on top of the seat to circulate air underneath your butt.. after a couple 200 mile rides you don't know they are there and you never have that awful wet/burning feeling again.. no more monkey butt powder..

I had an automotive upholstery shop do mine. I could tell a difference but not a huge difference.

I put them in my stock FLHS seat. Used the ones for on top of the seat and just took the cover off them. Installed them very much like the above link. I don't think I will do it again. I do not feel a lot of difference.
