I have always spent it on performance

this/next time it will be ergonomics first, I have never had one "fit" right

 

All my $$$ went into the engines; see my sig

 

Pretty much a 50/50 split.

 

Did both at time of purchase.
- Bling: Chrome front end, chrome wheels, chrome rotors, chrome console and luggage rack, a few other take offs from my 03 RKC
- Performance: Stage I - free negotiated SERT, SE II slip ons from my 03 RKC, SE A/C.
- Comfort - rider foot pegs from my RKC, handle bar grips

Rode if for 3 years - tires, oil, gas, etc.

Last year:

- Bling: (got for Christmas and not yet installed) Bezel rings for gages, digital oil
dipstick,
- Peformance: SE 255 cams, Rinehart slip ons and dyno
- Comfort & safety: Passenger foot pegs in addition to the floor boards to give my SO some other foot positions, HD head shields to cut down some heat from the pipes, Sweeper +2 handlebars. auxillary running light module, Radio Shack siren ($5.95)

Planned: replace my Dunlop 402's with Dunlop Elite 3's when the current tires wear out.

 

I'm about looks on this sled. I do have to admit the stage 1 did shave a couple of minutes off my quarter mile.

 

Convenience and comfort so far. Have not even done a stage 1 yet.
Bags, faring, sissy bar to hold backpack... I would think seat upgrade maybe next. Then stage 1

 

Stage I upgrade with V&H short shots and SE HighFlow Air.
Now it sounds like a Harley, That is why we all say HD Taxes Paid.

 

Always been an acceleration junkie,making the bikes reliable and fast makes them look great without all the bling.Never been into expensive paint just great looking paint to compliment the machine.

 

My choice: look good. After coming to Harley from sportbikes, ain't gonna impress me with power.
