Default Finally laid it down on the road and ended up on my ***. DAMMIT!

I've laid down a touring bike in a parking lot while demoing and laid my Road King down in my driveway both at a stop, with me able to keep my feet, and no harm done to me or bike. Last night I was stopping at a red light and my jeans got caught on something. I should have just leaned right and put everything on my right leg, but I was too focused on unhanging my left. Well, it went down to the left and I went with it since I was still stuck. I ended up on my *** in the middle of the road, pride destroyed, bike okay, me okay physically, and having to answer to, "Sir, are you okay?" from a car full of 20-something year old hotties. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Thanks god that your pride is all that was hurt.
But make sure you really are ok. Sometimes you don't notice that you did some damage till later.

I guess this would put one in the win column for the two feet down at stop versus one debate! Glad to hear you and your bike are OK. The pride will heal!

I had to smile at your misfortune. Sorry. Anytime you can go down and only hurt your pride, life is good. Still, to have to endure the "Sir,......" by young hotties is tough, and for that you have my empathy!
