Truly like the denim paint.

It seems to develop a "patina" as the bike gets older - rich and subtle. The color itself seems to improve with age as well. Mine is 2008 Crimson Red Denim. I get complimented on the color quite often.

Also - no waxing required!

Got pics ?
Some of the designs i see on new bikes..theres just no way they could be doing the proper pretreatments on the new metal.
I would not be suprised if there were issues with some

But they sure look cool though

Doubt you will have any problems with that, but if you were to use the wrong polish on it you just might.
Salesman probly did you right selling you what he did

I was told to use simple green on the denim. That or windex. No polish ever.

I buffed and polished mine,, now it looks just like Vivid Black,,,, Ohhh I bought it that way...

Contrary to what other think, I've found that every HD product I've bought over the 3yrs I had her, I have been completely happy with and they all are really good, cept the Syn 3 oil, dont' use it in primary or tranny, and next change it wont be in the motor anymore,, nothing happened, just going to something else.

Denim Black 883 Iron here.
Wash with Dove or similar dish soap to cut the grease & oil.
Between washes I wipe her down with Windex.
As the tag says "NO WAX"
