It's been on the Amber Alert Signs for the past two weeks here in California

 

It's nice that Caltrans cares about us riders, but sure made the traffic come to stop and go earlier this week on 101 in Morgan Hill.
There were no bikes in sight!Those signs are a distraction IMO.

 

Yeah, saw one of those signs on the 118 Fwy while riding this afternoon. I think it's great that Caltrans is doing that. Not five minutes later, some moron cut me off on a surface street; I had to bail into the bicycle lane to avoid getting hit.

Funny though how they can't read and drive at the same time, but they have no trouble drinking coffee, talking on the cellphone, looking at the newspaper and putting on makeup, all at the same time at 80mph on the freeway............
just sayin

 

I had to run up to Sac from the Bay Area and I seen they had them on all of the signs I past, up and back.

 

Saw them today and yesterday in San Diego too
