06 Road Glide and 25 degree injectors
I took my scoot in for its 2500, and I've been having problems with popping on accel, and sudden loss of power due to that. I've stalled once at a light, and nearly dumped the bike twice on a turn because of this. I told the wrench about it, and I heard that with the Electraglides, the 25 degree injectors fixed the problem. It seems they'll go ahead with it, but my question is, aside from removing this popping issue, are there any other advantages to having 25 vs 8 degree injectors?

In my opinion, no other advantage except not scaring the crap out of you in a slow speed turn.
I had the injectors changed out and it did make a lot of difference. Also make sure you have the correct download. I am running SE air cleaner and V&H slip-ons. Shovelhead Bob (our Tech guru) suggested the "Race Only" download. When that was installed along with the 25* injectors, all decel popping went away.
Good Luck.

I also have a PCIII coming in to help with the decel popping, and having it run lean. The damn thing gets too hot too fast. Like you guys said, it will likely improve my situation, and I figure the PCIII will be the final killing stroke. No more popping and near drop scenarios!

Small improvement but still will pop and stall when cold. I had 8 deg injectors and was having some issues so they put the 25's in. The bike will still pop and stall if it isn't warmed up all the way. I'm having a engine build done and a dyno tune so things should get better.

I am not experiencing any problems with my 8* injectors eg. no stalling, poping, or cold start problems. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Update! They didn't do the injectors cause they couldn't reproduce the problem. But I installed the PCIII tuner, and no more popping or coughing... It just runs great now, and it may be placebo effect, but it seems to have more power now too. Couldn't be happier. PCIII was definitely worth the investment, and completely fixed the issue.
