Default Orlando Harley Dealers

OK, need some advice, preferably from locals in Orlando. I'm iIn Orlando with the wife for a week, and it's going to be cold and raining Friday. I figure I can get a couple of hours to visit one of the three HD dealers (but only one).

Which one would you visit and why?

I-4 Historic Factory 3770 37th Street

East Orlando Harley 11898 Lake Underhill Road

Orlando Harley South 5881 W Irlo Bronson Hwy.

Thanks!

THey're all owned by the same folks. The I-4 shop is the "headquarters" of the operation. Go there and enjoy.

I vacation several times a year near Orlando, maybe that qualifies me to answer this maybe not, but here goes. I'd skip the Orlando dealers...been there done that. With a 30 minute drive, in either direction you can visit Stormy Hill HD in Cleremont, small dealer with personable folks there. I would really recommend Seminole HD in Sanford, just east of Orlando. They are a fairly large, full service dealer that is very personable. I shop there whenever I am in central Florida and never had a bad experience there. They have had some awesome clearance deals every time I was there and also have a nice lounge with snack and coffee.

I have to say East, because that's where I bought my bike. Been to all three, and liked the folks there the best. Especially in the service department.

But, as said, they are all owned by the same people. There's definitely the most to see at the I-4 location, though.

As a side note, there is also an Orlando Harley in Downtown Disney, but it's mostly just clothes.

I got my Fatboy for Seminole HD a year ago this monday. Ask for Jessie or Smooth - great guys and willing to give you under MSRP. They have the theory of selling more for less not fewer for more. Nice guys.

Seminole HD is nice, but I don't consider them Orlando. Plus I'm a "West-sider" so the I-4 store is the closest to me and I don't venture "North of 50 or East of Michigan" unless I absolutely got to. Heck, I even take the back way up to Daytona versus running I-4. The Stormy Hill folks in Clermont are nice folks too, but as stated earlier, it's a really small store and is a satellite of Gator HD in Leesburg, FL. Some of the best riding in the state is out that way though. I didn't think the original poster was doing any "heavy shopping" like buying a bike or major parts and customizing. I figured with an hour he just wanted to stop in, have a cup of coffee, meet some folks, look around the show room and clothing area, and buy the perfunctionary t-shirt. Seminole HD and the I-4 store are similar in size and content. Either one is a good choice. Depends on which one you're closest to. Have a great time in Orlando and ride safe.

When did Harley dealers become tourist destinations?.,,
