Default Road Glide CVO catalytic converter

I'm getting mixed signals regarding '09 Road Glide CVO exhaust. The question is do all CVO's come with catalytic converters? I'm been told by some that it depends on the state (in my case Oregon). Others have said that all CVO models have catalytic converters. Which is it?

It's unfortunate that they do not know what they are selling.

Or he took it in on trade and it was removed. He might have had an employee remove it and he didn't know or is in denial.

Ether way, all CVOs had the Catalytic Converter when originally shipped from the Harley Davidson Factory.

Default a littl mor clarification

yes all 2009 sergs have a catalyst in the head pipe when left in stock condition. however if purchased used you may be pleasantly surprised to find it was swapped out with a 49 state head pipe from a 96 cu in and remapped.
ps.
my dealer in mass. tried to tell me the catalyst was in the muffler. so me being the curious type had to find out for myself. removed right muffler and inspected headpipe using a flash light. it is located about 8 inches forward of where the right muffler slips over the headpipe.

True it may have been removed, but then they should have explained that when he asked. I doubt they removed it themselves, seems there would be negative ramifications for that. I have run into salesman who just don't have a clue. But to be fair I have also run into salesman who know the model's inside and out.

I think I would be more concerned withhow ugly some of those CVO's are, although I would have to junk the Catastrophic Converter.

Is it worth the effort to remove and does the bike need to be re mapped if you do?
