MMMM maybe some of the guys should ride with you, dog. Most guys carry a helmet in case they met someone. A blanket is a whole different level.

Believe me the bike is a better introduction to women than the world's cutest puppy..
I never have done the "biker attire" thing if the weather is nice and most of the time when I'm riding I just wear a nondescript t-shirt jeans and a pair of boots. Gloves stay on the bike when I park it.

When I was young and single I can recall one occasion when I was in a bar and tried to strike up a conversation with a woman only to be shot down. when I left she heard my bike start and came to the door to have a look at who it was. Upon seeing it was me the guy that was hitting on her she came out and started talking to me.
I looked at her, shook my head, put it in gear a rode off......I was really stupid when I was young.

I am not saying it is right but it isn't hard..

I think you did the right thing.

I used to be able to hear the pipes from blocks away..

I still notice everyone else's bike but since I ride my own a guy has to do more to impress me.

How 'bout a tour bus ???? All those silver heads and glasses, plastered up against the window, wrinkly thumbs in the air. Or pull into a gas station. The ol' geez pumpin' gas, walks over, and talks about the panhead or knucklehead, he used to have, and what a GREAT sight it is, to see one on the road.

Or imagine ALL the wimmin (and drunks) coming out of a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, right after they played "Red, White, and Blue"?
I put my kids buddy next to the scoot (24 yrs old). He had more titty around his neck, than you could shake a stick at. And it went on for over an hour straight. He was in 7th Heaven.

You're jus' startin', Son. Good news ???? I'm 57, so you have a L-O-N-G time to N JOY it.

"I refuse to answer on the grounds that may tend to incriminate me.",
BUT, I will say "SIZE DOES MATTER", Liz.

And I have one of the L - O - N - G - E - S - T Harleys in the area !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To go along with the 'looks'.

Ya know, Liz, I 'used to' think I had it goin' on. Then someone told me 'bout "Sympathy 'F's", and shattered my world.

NOW I charge. That way I KNOW it's ME, they're after. IF they offer to pay for gas, not so much, huh ???? And NOW you know why she wants me to at least go out and 'panhandle'. We NEED some, $$.

.

That's why so many of the more experienced, older riders have baggers. There is plenty of seat room + storage for an extra helmet, viagra....
BAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thanks Hollowpoint! I needed that. Just turned 62 today and was feeling alittle blue.

+1 on the kids thing....

A couple years back, 10 of us were heading down to Laconia. We pulled off the highway to gas up and get coffee. We drove past an elementary school yard full of about 200 kids at recess. It was funny to see damn near every kid in that school yard stop and stare at ten Harley's rumbling down the road past the schoolyard...

We all gave them a little salute on the way by.....it was great to see and it was obvious the kids loved it!

A friend and I were riding through Canyon City, Colorado one early evening in 1990, when a pickup load (2 in front and 4 in the back) of teenage girls damn near "put out eyes out", if ya know what I mean. .........Never will forget that little ride!
