Purchase price aside....how much $$$ invested so far?

However, it is amazing when you buy a bike that comes out of the box with just about everything already on it, I can still spend at least another $5 grand or so on it.

roughly $3200.
i'm ahead of the game though. bought my bike used with 1500 miles for less than 6 grand.
technically speaking, i can put 10 grand into it and just get to sticker price...yep, that's how im justifying it, anyone got a problem with that?

ha. funny you got it down to the penny. I had to do do tires and stuff for emissions when I bought it..so I'm guessing around 1k. Other than that it's been smooth sailing.

Me. I have the double whammy of two bikes. Probably spent $6k on them in the last two years.

Since June 09, OEM style K&N air filter, Mustang seat and K&P stainless steel mesh oil filter. That comes to about $450. I'm just about done... I just can't help it, I really think the Super Glide is perfect just the way it is. Wore out the rear tire at 7500 miles, and replaced that with another stock Dunlop, will switch to Metz when both are worn. But tires are consumables, like gas and oil, so I'll leave that out of the equation.
