I've spent about $4,000 since I bought my bike new in '07. My wife knows it and is fine with it. We both work, I don't question what she buys, she does the same with me. I have helped out my kids whenever they have needed, along with paying the lions share of their college education (my folks didn't help out with even a dime for mine). I don't spend a lot on other stuff, my favorite guitar is over 40 years old with no plans to replace, my Jeep is 13 years old with no plans to replace, our main vehicle is almost 9 years old...we will be replacing it as soon as the youngest daughter is done with college.

LIFE IS GOOD! and I do love chrome.

WOW!!! What did you do to it?!? I'd want to know what kind of stuff you were able to do with that kind of money. lol.

So far, I have only spent $500 on my bike. When I get money saved up for certain mods, the snakes end up wanting something else that needs to take priority...

it's over a span of about 3 yrs. bought 07 SG in July 07. the big ticket items were engine mod to stage 4 103...did diamond cuts while it was down. Wheels, rotors, calipers...paint...stereo...front-end...dakota digitals...corbin seat...supertrapp pipes...inner primary...led lights all around. lots of other smaller-$ stuff that adds up. i find it's really fun to add stuff...disease I guess. Just getting started on wife's 2010 deluxe.

Oh no...! Haha! Sounds like you have a lot of fun with it!

My projected costs of modding up my bike to my personal tastes go up to about just under $8500. Want to do the stage one, with free flowing A/C and exhuast, with new cams. Also want to do a Heartland kit, apes, jockey shift, and air-ride. Who knows...by the time I do all that, there will likely be other things to pop up!

Do you have pics of your bike on the site?

That will be sweet. for sure you'll think of other stuff. no on the pics. I haven't mastered the size limitations. I have pics but can't post cause they're too big.

I have found great success in using the "attachment" tool when posting. Granted, it makes your pictures look like tiny thumbnails, so people have to click to see, but it works. I've loaded up pics that are way too big initially, using this feature. At least, it's worked for me before. I'm terrible with technology, so it's hard for me to give directions to help you out. But, I'd LOVE to see your bike! Sounds amazing!
