I found E-Bay Harley Davidson new boots for about 50% of list. Side ziper a must.

I bought a pair of Bates Tactical 8" lace up with side zippers that I bought from Dicks' Sporting Goods. Great for riding and walking. They are almost as light as running shoes and are leather and canvas for warmer riding weather.

Dakota police and paramedic boots.
Really like the zipper. Easy off and on and waterproof.

Bought some HD Boots on sale... and another pair from Leather Up http://www.leatherup.com/ . Both work well. I prefer to try boots on however as I find big diffeerences even in the same line. For longer rides in cooler Temps and wet weather I use Rocky Boots with Gore Tex (Breathable Waterproof) and Thinsulate Insulation (usually 800 Grams).

Sometimes I ride in a pair of lacers. I have two pairs: Ariat and Justin, both with work soles.

Since my old Addison Shoe Company flight boots have all worn out, and the USAF can't get any more since the company went out of business, I've switched over to Red Wing boots. They're the only ones that match the my old flight boots for quality and comfort.

A little expensive though. But you will only need to buy one pair in a life time.

You can't beat the best.

I go barefoot. Did the search function cease operating? Just curious.
