Default Rinehart Slip-on

Good Afternoon,
Has anyone with the Rinehart Slip-on with the black end cap had trouble with the black fading to purple or gray? After a very long and drawn out search we've decided we like the sound and looks of these. Someone on another site said his end caps have done that and as we know they aren't cheap to keep replacing...
(And to the gentleman that directed me towards Rineharts I appreciate it very much. However I did delete my messages and cannot remember your name.)
Regards,
Beth

Default RE: Rinehart Slip-on

The end caps on my Rinehart tru duals turned purple. I called Rinehart and they sent me the "new" end caps that are not suppose to turn purple. They turned purple shortly after I put them on. The spacers that are used to space out the right floor board were black when I received them from Rinehart, now they are purple. So it isn't a heat thing, I just ignore it and ride. I also have the Rinehart 2-1, but the end cap on it is still black.
