bike lift
#4
I saw a lift similiar to that at the SEMA show in Vegas 2 years ago. Guy had a Road King on it and told me to grab the bike and shake it. I gave it a little a wiggle and stepped back. Didn't want to F-up his RK. He grabbed it and shook the crap out of it. Scared the hell out of me. But the lift never failed and the bike stayed steady up in the air. Pretty impressive. His lift was going for a "show special" price of around $800.00. VERY well made. I guess someone from HF was there too, copied the idea, made some drawings and voila! New lift from Harbor Freight. In fairness to HF though, I have their 1500 lb MC/ATV jack and have not had any issues with it for over two years now. My UC has spent most of this winter on it without issue. I would like to see one of these in action (with someone elses bike on it) before I thought about buying it.

Looks like it should work OK although it seems it would restrict access to one side of the bike. If it is in the $800.00 price range as mentioned in a previous post I would look at a lift table style for that price.
