Default camping near daytona

I was wondering if anyone know of any good campgrounds within about a 1 hour ride or less range of daytona. we will be camping in a toyhauler fitht wheel. we will be taking our 10 year old boy with us also so it can't be wild and crazy, not that it is bad, but he is still a little young to learn all the bad habits.

Thanks in advance

Here is where we stay ....just South of St Augustine...

Quiet, food nearby, etc etc... we also had some kids it was perfect.
The ride to daytona along A1A is "perfect"

sites for 5th wheel are the 120's and 130's, and G100 to G106 lots

Default State Parks?

Check Florida state parks website. Wekiwa Springs is between Orlando and Daytona and sites are about $24 a night.

Check out Clark Family Campground in Deland. It used to be a KOA. I stayed there 3 years for bike week. It is nice and quiet.

New Smyrna has two, and just south of Daytona about 15 minutes. There are two campgrounds basically side by side...sorry cant remember exact names. This I know...one allows you to drive your bike in and the other doesn't. CALL AND ASK. They are cheap compared to Daytona. Another option is in Daytona, they have a KOA campground, basically in the city limits.....its clean, has a pool, close to everything.

Funny, I was going to recommend the KOA in Deland, but it has been many years since I camped there. Was a nice campground and easy access to all the events...
