Wearing My Patch 1% Of The Time!
Read an article last night about up in the Kingman, Mohave area of Arizona. Said the law is stopping a lot of motorcyclists with patches on, just because they have patches, matters not what patches. And they want all the bars to post a No Colors sign to keep the rif raff at church instead of the bars.
I love my patch "Got Motorcycle, F---Therapy". The article didn't say if they were looking for a specific patch, but I hope I don't get hassled for my inoquious patches. I only wear them about 1% of the time anyway.
I know a lot of people don't wear patches, but those that do, and besides the obvious, what are some of YOUR favorite patches?

No patches on the new jacket yet. I've got a bunch from my time in the Navy that I've collected over the years. I'll put them on but don't expect any hassle around here. Just the "MC" type 3 piece patches are what they look for

My patches are patriotic and anti Islam. No HD patches. I rarely wear a my patched vest anymore though.

If I read the same article you did correctly, they aren't stopping the riders wearing general patches with sayings, but have targeted the 3 bar patches worn by MC clubs. It's still profiling no matter how you look at it, just not done by race.
There's a few bars here in the Carolinas that have signs at the doors "no colors" inside. It does help keep the peace to some degree. but if someone is going to get into it, they're going to do it colors or not.
