Um, here's a few ways:

1. Visit the forums here frequently for information.
2. Subscribe to some bike mags.
3. Take your bike for a ride to another state and visit some shows there.

 

I went yesterday... my GF picked up a decent pair of assless chaps, and we had a couple of overpriced adult beverages. All-in-all, it was a decent event, worth the $12 tix I had (discount from St. Paul HD's MVP program). Gave me a chance to throw on my leather jacket and pretend like I was going to ride.

 

The same show is in NYC every year, at the Javits Center. Pretty boring, really, but worth a couple of hours in mid-winter.
