I love riding period I just want comfort, and looking for a lil more protection, but I need to be able to afford my next bike. any advice I'd appreciate it thanks

Buy a FLHT Standard and make it what you want. Buy used and look for the right deal. I picked up mine for $9,400 and love it. I had a Classic before this one. They are all basically the same bike so you can make one into what you a wanting.

I tend to agree with the buy used suggestions. there's plenty of deals out there and although I own a Street Glide I'd suggest getting the Electra Glide. I think you get more bang for your buck, although not the cool look.

Remember, EVERYONE rides a used bike. Once it roll off the dealers lot, it is USED.
PS. Go with an Ultra. ..........It will make your Dad sick that he didn't buy one!

Owned an Ultra, ridden a few StreetGlides.
Great scoots.
But my nest 'lounge' chair, would be a Road King. Prob'ly with the painted bags.
Run from solo seat, no shield, ALL the way, to two up, with trunk and batwing fairing with sound.
Big inch it. Slam it, a bit.
IMFUO, the "Ultimate" convertible Harley.
For whatever reason, ?????, there are a chit pot of FLHX's for sale on CL. Far outnumber any of the other touring scoots, whatsoever !!!
One possibility (not that it matters one dammd bit), young man's scoot ??? More likely to get layed off, over leveraged ($$), new family, ????????

Am I the only one here that never knows what the Gump is talking about?
Sorry Gump, not laughing at you, just with you. I bet you would be a lot of fun telling stories drinking a beer.

previously owned an Ultra
wants to get a Road King
hard bags on it
wants radio and batwing covertible to no fairing or windshreen
Big inch= wants bigger motor
slam it= lower the suspension
IMFUO= In my Fukd up opinion
Buy from a young guy that over bought and can't afford to keep it.
Sounds just like my kid
