What'd ya say? I can't hear you. Why would you even ask this question? Why get these pipes if your going to muffle 'em? That's gonna be one big expenditure for something that's not gonna be able to do one of the things that they are known for.

Ignore him. I've had those pipes for three years. After several hours at speed your head starts ringing. Try:

http://www.bigcitythunder.com/pages/...erMonster.html

"For curved pipes such as Vance & Hines Big Radius and Ness Slashers we recommend our Thunder Monster baffles part number 2002 or our new QQ baffles part number QBL 1845. For the Hooker Troublemakers we recommend our Thunder Monster baffles part number 2001 or our new QQ baffles part number QBL 1994. For other curved pipe applications please call and have the pipe dimensions available."

I even took the old stock baffles cut them to 6" and stuffed them in behind the BCT QQ's. Still louder than chit. Nice deep tone though. Did NOT have to re-dyno and assume you've already had that done if they are mounted.

Just do it

Smells like some one trying to drum up some business to reduce their inventory.

Do the fine people in the Great state of Massachusetts, or however you want to spell it, have a problem with the Decibel limits on scoots? No matter what bike you're on, and if you've been on it, after multiple hours at speed your head is gonna "ring" as you call it. This is more than likely the effects of wind buffeting on the audio canals than "Loud Pipes". Just hit the "Google" button and type in Doppler Shift and then you might understand that loud pipes have nothing to do with the effect that you are describing. If it did, everyone that has ever flown in an airplane from Kittyhawk to the present day would now be totally deaf.
